Metrics¶
Four pressures summarize greenhouse state. Every ruling can help one pressure while making another harder to control.
| Metric | Read it as |
|---|---|
| Water | Available irrigation and resilience against dry conditions. Higher is safer. |
| Yield | Productive capacity of the greenhouse. Higher is safer. |
| Harmony | Cooperation and tolerance between factions. Higher is safer. |
| Scrutiny | External inspection and compliance pressure. Lower is safer. |
Metric values are integers bounded by the rules engine. After a ruling, the interface shows signed changes and the Decision log records them. The greenhouse viewport translates the most important pressure into a non-numeric condition such as irrigation stress, wilting beds, a picket line, or an inspection queue.
Do not optimize one meter in isolation. A stable run requires trading scarce resources against faction demands and later consequences.
